About Spokes

At Spokes the staff and trainees work together to recycle, repair and service bikes which are then sold to the public. This makes bikes affordable to the whole family.

We take bikes in for repair and maintenance, with our base of spare parts we can repair most faults!

What we do

We train people to complete the different steps to a task so their skills improve alongside their confidence. They are given the opportunities to get involved with the day to day running of the business, such as answering the phone, serving customers, placing items for sale on on-line platforms and managing our stock.

Everyone has a role and his or her contribution is valued and recognised. Personal outcomes and progress is measured as people commence on their individual learning journey.

Our services are public facing and we place great importance of involving the trainees in community activities.

  • Bike Service

    Check & Tune: £30 + parts.
This ensures the bike is roadworthy.

    Full Service: price on application.
A full overhaul will be carried out, inclusive of a full clean and polish.

  • Bike Repair

Our team are skilled to deal with a wide range of bicycle problems.

Bring in your bike and see how
    we can help.

  • Bike Rebuilds.

Sometimes a bike can need more work than a repair or service can cover. It may be an old bicycle that needs TLC or one that has been donated to us.

We discuss with you what work needs to be done, the timescale and the cost.

We always have a range of bikes available for sale.

You can view them online or pop along to our Showroom at Spokes.

Bike maintenance for clubs and schools

Maintenance projects are an important part of what we do. At our sister charity in Kidderminster we have maintained mountain bikes at local schools and at outdoor pursuit centres. We are keen to expand this within Quarry Bank and surrounding areas.

If you work within a local school, club, association or bike club and would like to know how we could help you, please contact us.

We sometimes need to source parts that are no longer produced - please contact us if you have spare bike parts.
